I’ve written about politics, investments, real estate, and horse racing and my work has been recommended in articles in both local publications (“The Antelope Valley Press”) and national publications (“The Washington Post”). I’ve been a guest on radio (including the BBC) and on television (The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1993).
After working as a pari-mutuel clerk in the 1980′s, I earned a living as a horseplayer from 1989-1991, then did syndication sales for the Team Valor Racing Stables in 1992-1993. I was Customer Service Director for the “Handicapper’s Report” publication from 1993 – 1997, when I bought the company from Jeff Siegel. From 1997 to the end of 2001, I was the Owner and Publisher, during which time the publication received glowing reviews from “Phillips Racing Newsletter” (PRN), “Meadow’s Racing Monthly“, and from Andy Beyer in the “Washington Post” and “Daily Racing Form“. I am also the creator of the “SoCal Special” handicapping system. I have been a consultant and writer for Handicapper’s Report since the end of 2001.
I work part-time for the current owners of Handicapper’s Report, and work full-time as an independent life insurance agent, offering indexed universal life insurance and annuities to individuals that want to build a tax-free retirement income without risk.
